The Journal’s emphasis is on the flow of products and services through the food wholesale and retail distribution system. Related areas of interest include patterns of consumption, impacts of technology on processing and manufacturing. Food production and distribution must increase concurrently in order to meet the demands of the world’s rapidly expanding population.

This increased production must be accomplished in the face of erosion of existing cultivated acreage due to adverse global climatic changes, and/or rapid urbanization in certain parts of the world, and plant. different market channels for which food is produced.
